Bali Is Attracting More Visitors Than Predicted For 2023

Earlier this year, authorities announced that they wanted to see 4.5 million international tourists visit the island in 2023.

Officials are optimistic that after a little more than half of the year, the island will not only meet but even exceed the tourist goals for this year.

According to travel data collected so far, 2.9 million foreign visitors came to Bali between January and July 2023.

The provincial government and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economies are sure that, in view of this, the island will exceed its targets by the end of the year.

Addressing reporters Ngurah Rai Sugito, the director of the TPI Special Immigration Class I Office, said: “Previously, in 2022, the Provincial Government of Bali targeted 1.5 million foreign tourist visits, but instead, it exceeded 2.1 million visits. So, we are also optimistic that we can achieve this year’s target.”

Indonesia has been noted as the most generous country in the world.

In a comprehensive study conducted by the Charities Aid Foundation, Indonesia came out on top as the world’s most giving people across all categories. 

Since 2010 the Charities Aid Foundation has conducted a comprehensive worldwide study to establish the World Given Index. Indonesia has now come out as the world’s most generous country for an impressive six years in a row.

Millions of people across the world take part in the survey and share their giving habits. This year, citizens from 142 countries took part in the survey.

The World Giving Index results are calculated on three factors, if a person helped a stinger or someone they didn’t know, donated to charity, and volunteered their time all within a month of taking part in the survey. 

The world’s most generous countries are Indonesia, followed by Ukraine, Kenya, Liberia, and the United States.

ne year ago, I predicted. "Bali and Bali real estate, and especially real estate in Sanur on and on the East Coast will have its best year in 9 years."

 I said "The word is out that it’s time to buy Bali real estate. Buyers from Singapore, Hong Kong, and especially Jakarta and Australia are pouring money in. There are also plenty of Russians and Ukrainians buying here as well for full time residence.

 Many who have vacationed here in the last couple of months are beginning to realize perhaps they should buy something. 

 New retirement laws allowing people to retire here for five years at a time on a visa and renew easily at the end of the five years

 A brand-new second home Visa that allows those with Middle to high incomes, too live here for upwards to 10 years on a visa will increase demand dramatically.

 Sanur, on Bali's East coats which I predicted last year would be one of the hottest markets, may absolutely be the hottest market in Bali in the next 12 months.

 Word is finally out after the successful G20 meeting that Sanur is the location of a 10-hectare Bali International Hospital.

 Along with the largest University in China The Tsinghua University Campus just builtSouth of Sanuron Serangan Island. 

Finally the fact that 25 % of the world’s population is retiring and wants to live in the quieter area of Sanur the future looks very bright.

They will have no problem attracting their children and grandchildren to visit Grandma and Grandad. Boomers will have no problem purchasing one of our brand new Bali Luxury Retirement Villas starting as low as $268,000 for a two-bedroom 2 bath with a private swimming pool and private carport only 200 meters from a beautiful very safe beach. I have been predicting that Sanur, and Bali's East Coast would be the place that a large percentage of the 25% of the population of the world that are Baby Boomers would live in the future. I named our first Villa Complex Golden Villas because of the Golden Aged Owners and Guests who would be attracted to them.   Sanur designated as Special Economic Zone. Recently the President of Indonesia, fondly called Jokowi, announced  that over 20 Hectares of land including the Grand Bali Beach Hotel in Sanur is now designated as a Special Economic Zone. What is really exciting is that this special economic zone is within walking distance of our three Bali Luxury Villas complexes This new special economic zone will be mostly utilized for medical tourism, primarily for the elderly from around the world. Boomers from around the world will come here and be treated for everything from a facelifts to cancer treatment at a fraction of the cost in their country.   The famous Mayo Clinic of the U.S.A. is consulting on this complex. If you drive by there right now you will see buildings going up like crazy. I am sure they showed this economic miracle to the G 20 leaders and associates when they came here in Nov. Largest Real Estate Boom in Sanur History: I have been predicting for years that there would be a real estate boom in Sanur from Baby Boomer Demand. It is happening right now. There has never seen more demand for Sanur Land, Villas, Homes and even million-dollar 100-million-dollar hotels than in my 26 years living here. For example, recently I had a call from one contact who has an owner from Jakarta looking for a hundred million dollar plus hotel in Sanur. Later that day I had another contact call  tell me that he would like to share with me a development plan that is taking place on the Southern Beach of Sanur which will include hundreds of beach-side expensive villas and a first-class marina.  Boomers Moving from Crazy, Gridlocked Southwestern Areas: Then a few days later during a private Bali Hai cruise one person after another told me that they want to move away from Canggu, Kerobokan and even Seminyak because it has just gotten crazy over there with grid lock traffic and a dramatic rise in crime. Some of our Villa owners are reporting extraordinary rental prices right now for long-term rentals. I am receiving one to three requests every week for long-term rental villas. Couple with that there has been a large number of improvements in Sanur restaurants, grocery marts etc. and Sanur is now the place to retire as I predicted. I personally along with a lot of seniors have been playing tennis twice a week at the new first class Liga Club which has a gym, six tennis courts, Pool, and other facilities. I will go on out on a limb with a Nostradamus Moment and Predict that for the next 2-5 years Sanur will be one of the top three or five hottest real estate markets of Bali, Asia and even the world as it returns to the 2014 prices for real estate.
