Remember this date. the 14th day of the fourth month of the 24th year of the century.
- Iran sent over 300 missiles toward Israel in retaliation for an earlier attack on its embassy, sparking fear and uncertainty in the region.

Defense forces of Israel and its Iron Dome. missile system. Plus, jet fighters with the help from America's jet fighters and perhaps a few anti-missile missiles from offshore U.S. Navy ships managed to intercept practically every missile that came.
Later the Hezbollah. terrorists backed by Iran began to send their homemade missiles in as well.
The missle count upgraded to 300.
Just a few minutes ago it was announced. that it was not 100 or 200 but over 300 missiles that were sent. Many of them are ballistic missiles with specific guidance to hit major installations, including power plants, nuclear power plants, etcetera.
Fortunately for Israel, with America and several other countries' help, 99% of the missiles were intercepted. At this point, there is no major damage, although. it would be careless to assume that there will be none.
Is this the start of the Third World War?
Israel has been wanting to attack Iran for some time when they found out they were developing nuclear weapons.
Think about it for a moment. Iran could have installed nuclear weapons on top of those ballistic missiles.
Even if they were intercepted they may have exploded killing thousands in the immediate area. And creating a nuclear fallout and a nuclear winter.
It would have definitely brought the rest of the world into the conflict?
This attack can be seen as the beginning of a declaration of war from Iran, in response to Israel's recent attack on an Iranian Embassy in Syria, which resulted in the deaths of several Hezbollah leaders.
The disproportionate retaliation raises questions about who truly benefits from this conflict.
Iran may not have gained much, considering the limited success of their attack, while Israel could see an increase in sales of their Iron Dome system to other nations seeking effective defense measures.
The looming question now is what comes next?
Given the history of tit-for-tat actions in the Middle East, Israel may use this as a justification to target and eliminate Iran's nuclear capabilities, possibly with support from the United States and others who share concerns about Iran's nuclear program.
It is crucial to note that Russia supplies weapons to Iran, but they are currently preoccupied with their own conflicts.

The only thing for sure in my mind is the fact that many who are considering vacationing anywhere near the Middle East and even in southern Europe will reconsider their plans for this vacation year.
Fortunately, I made that decision months ago and will not go near there with my family.

Many of the vacationers that we're planning on going to that area of the world in the coming months will probably stay closer to home.
Bali, may benefit in a small way from that. But I'd rather lose that benefit and have everything just deescalate.
