Where to go this Sunday with the family?

A common question that many parents have to answer every week when they want to spend some time with their family on Sunday is “where to go”?

Fortunately, there are many answers that question in Bali. We never failed to find new places to go to in the 23 years I've been here.

Last Sunday my Lovely wife Azizah came up with the brilliant idea of going to visit a recently opened new day club which provides a fantastic view of the famous Tegenungan waterfalls in Sukawati.

The biggest attractions of this suggestion was that it's located only 15 minutes drive from our home at Bali Paradise Estates. So, we didn't have to rush off until around 2 o'clock .



I must admit we were very confused because last time we visited here was in the middle of the pandemic and there was hardly anybody around. 

I remember a small restaurant which was a local Warung with very difficult parking.

We soon discovered after heading for the old entrance to the waterfall that we weree on the wrong road, and we should've taken a left before entering to a brand-new parking lot.

We drove up the road to a parking lot just for the Omma Day Club.

The professional parking guards and the security at the entrance directed us to the restaurant which is actually an elevator that takes you down to the main dining area.

We soon found a seat with a view of the waterfall and settled in for an afternoon of dining on typical day club treats such as pizzas and pastas and sushi. 

The staff were very professional and very willing to take photos of her family. 

Later I wandered around and discovered a private area with a circular dining area with a fabulous view of the waterfall which I made a mental note to book in the future. The minimum price is 5 million which can be used on food and drink.

We didn't wander down to the pool level which is a typical day club layout.

 the DJ played fabulous music all day.

Of course, you could wander over to the waterfall and go for a swim. If you're really courageous you could jump off the cliff, although I don't recommend it.


All in all, was lovely afternoon we thoroughly enjoyed it.

 

It should be noted that you could combine that with the trip to the Butterfly Park or the Bali Zoo which are very close. 

If you plan on visiting the Omma day club I suggest reservations for a waterfall view table.

You may want to spend the night before in our oceanfront complex only 15 minutes away.

Later we returned to our home in 15 as took off her clothes and jumped swarms we will next to the Indian Ocean volley Bali Paradise Beach states.
