It makes sense for the film industry to film in Bali.
More important it can save a lot of dollars and cents.
Let me give you a few of the main reasons.
(1) Number one the cost of producing a film here would be 40% to 70% less in places like Vancouver where hotels can cause $200 - $300 night for cast and Crew.
(2) The costs of food and feeding a casting crew would also be about 70% less the most major places the world.
(3) There are no unions so cheap and expensive labour can be had for as little as $10 per day.
(4) Transportation costs are fraction of the West for taxes trucks etc.
(5) Perhaps one of the most important reasons is Bali's weather is nice and unpolluted almost every day of the year. Even during the rainy season from December until February the rains usually clear by 9 AM and don't return to until late afternoon.
(6) As more and more film studios decide to shoot here they discover they will discover they can save as much is 40 to 50% of the cost of production.
(7) And then more Eat, Pray and Love high quailty movies will be shot in Bali featuring Bali's beautiful scenery.
(8) The world will discover why Bali this year is the most sought destination in the world according to the readers of TripAdvisor.
The Indonesian government should do everything they can to support this industry and become the Bali would of Asia
Cannes: Post-COVID film industry coming to Bali with new studio and Hollywood movie
BALI, Indonesia, July 14, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- A brand new movie studio is underway in Bali, Indonesia. American owned BVL PT-PMA has acquired a large piece of land and is building a professional movie studio with big green-screen facilities.
The surrounding natural beauty in Kerambitan, Tabanan, with ocean views, year-round sunsets, mountains, and rice field spectaculars will inspire and attract creative movie teams to this Balinese studio village to help promote Indonesian film making.
