Company President and Co-Owner Lawrence Bellefontaine provided an extensive audiovisual presentation on the past, present and the future of the company.

This all ended in disaster when his yacht was smashed to pieces on the beaches of Darwin in a class five cyclone.
Almost penniless with approximately 30 million rupiah to his name he started a small company out of his home in Sanur which has become one of the largest and most respected companies in Bali.
Recently the company was awarded the Hall of Fame award from tripadvisor for the second time which is only awarded to the top 2% hotels recorded on Tripadvisor around the world.
During the presentation he talked about the past 14 years from its inception when they started to manage PT. Bali Luxury Villas which manages 55 luxury villas in Sanur and a additional two Estates in Gianyar .
This new Best Asia Real Estate website allows individuals to find properties fast in the area that they're interested in simply by clicking and moving a mouse, without virtually any typing.
He reminded his staff that a year earlier he had advised them that the four year downturn in real estate was over. Recently real estate demand had increased significantly with several villas selling in Sanur as well as beachfront properties selling on the eastern coast after years of stagnant sales.
He advised his staff that he believes that we are the start of another major upturn in Bali real estate and that "this is the second best time to buy Bali Real Estate this century".
He pointed out that 10 years ago in Bejing, China he stuck his neck out and predicted that Chinese tourists would be the number one tourist to Bali in the future.
Last year not only were they number one but demand increased 57% from Chinese tourists even with volcanoes going off.
When he was in Mumbai with the Indonesian government many years ago he predicted that Indians would start to flock to Bali. Last year Indian tourist arrivals increased 56%.
In one slide he also pointed out that the Australians continue to visit Bali and Bali is their number one destination. Over 1.5 million Australians came to Bali in 2017. Twice as many as the next location, Singapore
He then pointed out new developments they are just beginning, Bali Luxury Retirement Villas to fill the need for an estimated 750 million baby boomers born between 1946 and 1964. They live within a 6 1/2 hour flight from Bali in countries such as Japan, China, Malaysia, Singapore Taiwan, Hong Kong, and closer to home Jakarta and Australia.
He predicted that this would be the largest demand for Bali real estate the next 5 to 10 years.
At the end of the presentation he showed how successful their company had been the past 12 months even with volcanoes and earthquakes their occupancies were up 7% for the year to 78% average occupancy up into October.
More important as he points out at every meeting with his staff that "success is not measured by getting there but by staying there" and it's important to always maintain the highest quality villas and services.
He then showed five slides with their satisfaction rate on the largest hotel websites including booking.com, and Tripadvisor.
And finally he stated that their current satisfaction rate is 91% according to the reviews on these websites.

At one point he stopped and praised his wife and the fact that the 12th. of the month also marked another month of marital bliss with Azizah who is not only a Notaris but also part owner of the company.
As he pointed out since they joined together the company is extremely strong with her Law Degree, Notaris Licence and contacts plus 10 years experience as a director of a hotel prior to their marriage.
As he pointed out things became a lot easier for a foreigner working in Bali.
