We have stayed in many many places for work and have been here for two weeks now. The staff are friendly helpful and thoughtful the accommodation is comfortable and clean. When a bigger room became available they moved us there for no extra price. We will come again.

Emerald villas are a short walk from the main shopping /eating street in Sanur and one more block to the beach (where there are more eateries).
These private villas with traditional Balinese style open-plan living rooms, private pool, and individual bedrooms (with a/c, ensuite bathrooms and, often, an outdoor shower) are the prefect accommodation for relaxing in privacy.
The maids (who will do breakfast, washing up and laundry as you require) , gardeners and pool boys all are wonderful assistants to aid the chilling!
Sanur is the most quiet of all the resorts but is also a short taxi ride from Kuta, Seminyak etc should more fun times be wanted.
It's also easy to hire a car to go for day trips to Ubud, Tabah Lot or Ukuwatu temples, or even further to Gunung Batur with its spectacular crater, crater lake and emerging second peak in the centre.
Been several times and going back again this year - that should say it all!

We stayed 4 weeks with my wife a 18 months toddler and two of our Nannies in Emerald 4 villa.
The location is very central, two minimarkets and plenty of restaurants within 50-100m walk.
Beach can be accessed easily by a 300m walk trough a quite street.
The villa had 2 large bedrooms with equally large bathrooms including outside and inside shower.
The open living room together with tge kitchen is huge and directly next to the private pool. So you can literally swimm in the living room while others a having a dinner or watch TV.
The Internet connection was sometimes down, not the fault of the hotel (a general sickness of the government owned Telkomsel who oversell the bandwith and then switches off customers who are complaining least to cope with the higher demand than they can deliver. This experience I had in many places in Indonesia). But fortunately the villa has also cable TV (with even more channels) so we could use the TV all the time.
Any small issues (encountered in our 4weeks stay) like pool pump stopping, AC requiring maintenance, lights going off were dealt with by the technical staff in a speedy and efficient way.
The full time house maid is taking care of any request in a very helpful and friendly way. She is cleaning and also washes your clothes daily.
The pool and garden are also cleaned daily by professional hotel staff.
I therefore have to rate the service as excellent and would not hesitate to come back any time due to the large size of the villa, being well equipped and in central and quite location. Great value for money.
Sanur itself is very different to Kuta or Seminyak. More quite and layed back with nice beachwalk where you can bicycle or jog or simply stroll along the many restaurants and hotel resorts.
As we had our own car, which you can park on the premises, we could easily access the Bypass and get to Kuta Seminyak or Nusa Dua within half an hour.

My partner and I had an amazing week here from 16th - 24th May. The villa was very beautiful, well maintained and kept very clean by our maid Sonia, it was our own little piece of paradise.
very comfortable bed, air conditioning worked perfect, very clean private pool and gardens which were just gorgeous! we loved our villa so much we spent most of our time there.
