A month after the reopening of the international flight gates to Bali in mid-October, tourism in Ubud is back to being active and active.
Several tourist attractions, performing arts, restaurants, cafes, spas and yoga which were previously closed are reopening, and those who survive are becoming more optimistic about welcoming tourists.

However, will everything return to normal when there are many visitors?
Compared to the initial period of the pandemic and the moment of tightening, a number of shops on Ubud's main roads, such as Jalan Raya Ubud, Hanoman, and Goutama which were closed, have reopened.
Although some of them appear to be no longer operating and changing functions.
Among the few shoppers, restaurants, spas and cafes, which were predominantly local, there were one or two foreigners.
This stretch gives its own hope for Bali tourism, which had suspended animation due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic which has been going on since March 2020.
"The reopening of Bali tourism, and regulations that no longer require PCR tests have an impact on increasing visitors, especially domestic tourists, who have the freedom to travel. We have also experienced an increase, although not significantly," said Gusti Jayeng Saputra, owner of Jaens Spa Bali. , which is located on Jalan Pengosekan, Ubud when met last weekend.
This, he said, can be seen from the traditional Balinese massage which is often chosen by guests who visit Jaens Spa.
According to visit data published by the Bali Provincial Tourism Office, around 2021 during the Covid-19 period there were several people who visited Bali from several countries.
Mentioned, 43 people have visited Bali both for vacation and for business.
Most of them come from Asia which is about 25 Japanese and Chinese.
"This shows that people can start international travel without fear of Covid-19. With this progress, it can be seen that tourism in Bali is moving forward through the support of the community and the government," he added.

Internal defense
Compared to other tourist attractions in Bali, Ubud is popular thanks to its location and impressive natural scenery.
The calm, and calming impression is then also attached to a lifestyle that blends with nature, yoga and meditation activities, traditional performing arts, and healthy and vegetarian menu restaurants.
Jero Ratni, yoga instructor and co-founder of the Bali Eling Spirit Pasraman who is in Banjar Umadawa Pejeng Kangin, Gianyar, said the conditions in Ubud before and after the opening of Bali tourism were still not much different.
"There is no significant change from our activities here (Ubud, ed). Even if there are Caucasians (tourists), they are those who already live here, not new people from the opening of the border," he said.
However, he said, at the beginning of the year someone came, it was a time of tightening.
Guests who used to go in and out at that time were using a business visa, so there was no problem with the reason for traveling.
Then, the activities are more local or domestic tourists, from Sabang to Merauke.
There are personal online coaching, online healing, and/or there are also those who directly participate in activities at Bali Eling Spirit after it was made easier by the opening of incoming flights to Bali.
"But still, it's not because it was opened recently, but the time for tightening has been running. The change is that they are more relieved, because it's legally opened and they are free to travel. This is more domestic, not international," he added.
