Suara.com - A total of 11 hotels in The Nusa Dua area, Badung Regency, Bali, which are managed by PT Indonesia Tourism Development/Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), have been transformed into places of self-isolation or isoman for foreign tourists .
The determination was made based on a recommendation letter from the Bali Province Covid-19 Task Force to 55 hotels as quarantine places for travelers from abroad.
"This determination is a form of stakeholder confidence in the readiness of our region to welcome tourists during the adaptation period for new habits," said Managing Director of The Nusa Dua I Gusti Ngurah Ardita in Denpasar, Wednesday (11/3/2021).
The eleven hotels designated as quarantine hotels for foreign tourists are Melia Bali, Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali, The Laguna a Luxury Collection Resort and Spa Nusa Dua.

Also Courtyard by Marriott Nusa Dua, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort, Merusaka Nusa Dua, Novotel Bali Nusa Dua Hotel and Residences, Grand Hyatt Bali, Amarterra Villas Bali Nusa Dua, and Mercure Bali Nusa Dua.
Ngurah Ardita said that his party continues to coordinate with the Bali Province Covid-19 Task Force regarding the Standard Operating Procedure/SOP for accepting foreign tourists in the Nusa Dua area.
In addition, The Nusa Dua which was designated by the government as a Green Zone Destination also continues to make various efforts to receive tourists back.
These include the preparation of health protocol-based regional governance, Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) certification for areas and tenants as well as ensuring the use of the PeduliLindung application.
"We and the tenants have also proactively carried out 5M socialization or washing hands, wearing masks, maintaining distance, staying away from crowds and reducing mobility for employees, visitors, and the general public as a step to suppress the spread of Covid-19 in the area," he said. (Between)
