- We know that a majority of the deceased patients were elderly and many had pre-existing conditions such as asthma and lung disease etc. So young people and people who are in good health should be pretty safe with this virus.
- The best news is that the amount of patients being affected each day is dropping percentage-wise from a high of 95% per day on January 18th. to only 22% in the last 24 hours.
- Based on this trend it appears that they may be getting it under control.
- Each day, although there will be more new cases for some time perhaps up March 7th.
- What's really promising is that the amount of percentage increase in new cases is dropping consistently.
Yesterday I said, "based on the current statistics it appears that they may have it under control".
Many scorned me and made negative comments on that statement.
One thing I've learned over my 50 years of making predictions on my Radio & TV programs in my Newspaper Articles, National and International seminars, Newsletters, Blogs, Tweets, & Facebook posts is that "if everybody's laughing at me I am probably right".
"If everybody's laughing at me I am probably right".
The public is always wrong! Because they don't do the intense research required to make a prudent educated prediction.
This morning after I returned from my morning walk on the beach I felt vindicated because my spreadsheet shows that yesterday although there was an increase in deaths and cases the increases in new cases have slowed significantly.
It hit a high of 115% increase on January 18 th. then began to slow down.
The really exciting news is that yesterday it dropped to a 16% increase.
These numbers are based on numbers provided by the World Health Organization and other organizations that have no vested interest in providing false information.
Of course, a lot of it is based on what statistics they're receiving from China which may be construed to look better than it is.
"Based on this trend it appears that they may have it under control"
In my mind even if the numbers are as much as 500% more the most important thing to note is that the amount of daily increases in cases is dropping dramatically. The percentage increase in deaths should also decrease dramatically.
Yesterday the number of new cases reported increased from 9,800 the day before to 11,900 or roughly 2,100 new cases.
What's important is that is a 16% decrease in the number of new cases reported from the day before when there was 22% in new cases.
New Cases May End in March:
Now, are you ready for some really good news?
If the number of new cases reported only stays at the same percentage increase per day as it is right now the number of new cases reported in early March will be down to two or three.
That's right that's not a typo, two or three new cases. This means the spread of the virus could be over by March.
Countries around the world are taking drastic actions to prevent this disease from spreading such as quarantining everybody returning from China and stopping all flights to China.
There's a good chance that it may even slow down faster than I'm predicting and we could be seeing no new cases reported as early as mid-February.
Unfortunately, this still means that by the time it is over there will be 50,000 to 60,000 cases diagnosed worldwide and 1% to 3% of them will sadly pass.
Primarily again those will be those with weakened immune systems which are primarily older people who already have diseases. "At this point, there's reason to have hope."
Of course, there are a lot of variables involved in this deadly disease.
Many things can change overnight.
At this point, there's reason to have hope.
If you're already in Bali what should you do?
Memo to Villa Owner and Guests - - Subject: Corona Virus Protection
Dear Bali Luxury Villa guests. Our president director Mr. Bellefontaine is on top of information almost hourly regarding the Coronavirus.
We are happy to report that unlike most of Asia, Australia, Europe, and even Canada and the Americas there have been no reported cases in Bali as of this morning.
There is thermal scanning at the airport, but this is not 100% safe as they have just revealed that coronavirus may be incubated in the patient up to 14 days before signs such as fever appear.
To be super safe we recommend the following.
1. Do not enjoy a massage as a masseuse may have given a massage to an infected person in the last week or so.
2. Try to avoid close contact in public places including avoiding any buffet lines where previous restaurant guests or staff may have unintentionally contaminated the buffet food.
3. In theatres, we recommend that you wear a surgical mask although be aware that this disease can spread through your eyes as well. Surgical masks are available for purchase at reception.
4. The masks you should purchase if you feel that you need them, are the inexpensive surgical masks which have blue color on the outside and a malleable bendable piece of metal around the nose.
6. Try to cook at home as much as possible to avoid the chance of receiving the virus from a 3rd. party. Soak all fruits and vegetables in vinegar and water to kill all bacteria.
7. Bali Luxury Villas, in general, does not have any mainland Chinese guests currently so there's very little chance of catching the virus within our villa complexes.
8. If the Virus becomes completely out of control the best thing to do would be to buy some frozen food and vegetables and stay in your villa enjoying your swimming pool, Wi-Fi and television.
9. If you do come down with any symptoms at all similar to flu contact our reception immediately and they will arrange for you to go to a local clinic be diagnosed whether you have the Coronavirus.
10. If have plans to go to China, Hong Kong, or even Japan soon we highly recommend you change your plans and stay longer with us until the virus is under control. Contact our reception and we will provide you a substantial discount for continuing your stay with us, subject to availability.
If you have any questions please feel free to direct them to the reception.
Pray that the authorities achieve control of this virus and eventually that it is under control and eliminated as was the similar Sar’s virus in 2012.
As always better to be safe than sorry.
Wishing you all a pleasant, comfortable, fearless, safe stay.
