Since I gave my sell signal the U.S. dollar has fallen almost 9% in nine months or roughly 1% per month against a basket full of foreign currencies,
I have been shorting it heavily since Jan 1st.
This is a strong indicator of the world confidence with the Trump administration.
There are several problems that may lead to a further heavy downturn in th U.S.D
1) Trump just signed an agreement with the Democrats to extend the debt limit therefore America's debt may cross the $20 trillion debt limit in the next few months.
2) Inflation is not rising heavily, yet, so the Federal Reserve may not resume interest rate hikes.
3) North Korea's aggressive moves are making the world less comfortable with America,
4) Finally two major storms, already one in Houston and now a class five cyclone barreling down on Florida will certainly hurt the infrastructure and cost billions of American taxpayers money.
U.S. dollar is heading down.
There are many other factors such as the strength of the Chinese currency etc. so rest assured the U.S. dollar is heading down.
It may have bear market rallies but I believe you will see another drop of 10 to 20%
How to Profit From U.S. Dollar Downturn:
If you need U.S. dollars wait for better exchange rates.
The good news is for Bali as most hotels and real estate is offered on the Internet in US dollars.
Therefore it will cost renters and buyers less money to rent and buy in Bali therefore increasing demand and prices.
Couple a falling dollar with the fact that we've had 23% surge in tourist arrivals this year and you have all the ingredients for huge increases in profits in the tourism and real estate industries
I will bet my 21 year Bali reputation on it.
They cite the fact that changes in real estate laws for foreigners allowing them to obtain control for more than a normal lifetime and up to 70% bank financing is creating a huge new demand for Bali Real Estate.
Coupled with the fact that Bali Real Estate has just undergone the first correction in modern history with prices down up to 50 % this has set the stage for *increases of 20% to 100 % the next three to five years.
