Bali luxury villas moved up in ranking and satisfaction rate of 89%

Lawrence Bellefontaine, President, Owner of PT. B.A.L.I. who manage PT. Bali Luxury Villas is pleased to announce that their satisfaction rate among past guests has hit an all time high.

Unlike a lot of hotels and villas in Bali who start off with great reputations and slowly over the years lose their reputation their reputation has been  gaining,

For example on booking.com, arguably the largest online hotel booking service the world, their satisfaction rate has just increased from 88% in 2016 to 89 % in 2017. 

As Bellefontaine explains "our reputation keeps on improving  because of our 150+ well-trained, experienced staff who have many years of satisfying clients".

 As he tells the staff "when we obtain a 89% satisfaction rate, rounded off that is 90% so we are satisfying 100% of the guests that can be satisfied since 10% of the clients in any hotel cannot be satisfied no matter what you do.They are just miserable and want to take it out on anyone they come into contact with. Or they are trying to find fault to get a discount or freebie."

He also admits some hotels on booking.com have a slightly higher rating than 89%. 


They are usually  hotels that just started up, only have a few testimonials and perhaps a lot of them were from friends or relatives who stayed for free and are obligated to provide a positive testimony.

As Bellefontaine says when he seeks hotels throughout the world for his own travel requirements he always makes sure that a hotel has at least 200 testimonials so that you can see a general opinion of the hotel based on a lot of guests and not just a few.

He also states to his staff at every meeting "success is not measured by getting there but by staying there".

  “Hidden luxury haven filled with every comfort fit for a royal”

  눇We reached past midnight, the hotel staff was friendly, welcoming and offered us our room immediately. He even took us to a convenience store and helped with picking food items as the hotel did not serve food after 9pm. Our private villa had its own private pool, outdoor kitchen and living area, a big bedroom, wardrobe room, a bathroom with a bathtub and an outdoor open bathroom as well. In the morning the cleaners came and cleaned the villa, washed dishes and did laundry, leaving us to feel royal and relaxed. Stepping out of the hotel and finding the beach was easy, as the beach is about 800 mts away and the view from the beach is another beautiful experience again. Clean beach, blue water, filled with bars, clean walking track, massage parlours, it's impossible one will have to try hard to have fun. A great getaway for those seeking a break from busy urban lifestyles.

  “Privacy to chill out.”

  눉Had a little trouble with the booking of transfer to the airport on the last day.

  눇The villa was we'll equipped and comfortable. The best part was that it was totally private allowing us to let our hair down and chill out.

  눉Bedrooms are quite far from one another which our kids found unsettling at first.

  눇We booked with Emerald but ended up in Jade villas which were FABULOUS. Great location and very luxurious. Recommended.

  “Absolutely lovely”

  눉There are a few things that could do with a little maintenance but it didn't really affect our stay.

  눇Staff was very friendly and helped us with any issues. The villa was absolutely lovely and the beach and lots of bars/restaurants nearby. this was our first stay in Bali and we enjoyed every minute of it! Great experience and if we ever go back to sanur we'd stay again.

  “Quiet stay in a comfortable villa in Sanur.near many good restaurants.”

  눉I would have preferred to have the television indoors in the bedroom which is air conditioned rather than outdoors in the kitchen and dining area. There is an outdoor shower but the water temperature was too hot to use. I believe the cold water valve was broken. No big deal as there was a large indoor shower in the bathroom. There was another poolside shower outdoors which we made use of before and after using the pool.

  눇We stayed in a one-bedroom villa and thankfully the adjoining villa was unoccupied or it could have been awkward. So we had use of the pool all to ourselves.There is a shared outdoor kitchen between the two units which we made minimal use of to prepare simple breakfasts but there are very good restaurants very close by so almost no need to have this amenity. The nearby beach is not really conducive to swimming so most people take a boat to one of the nearby islands. The walk along the beach was pleasant if you don't mind the heat and humidity. Not much to do except lounge poolside and go for short walks in the nearby areas. An added bonus is the maid service which included a limited amount of laundry each day.

  “Another great stay at The Emerald Villas Sanur”

  눇This wasn`t our first stay here and we have never been disappointed. The private pool villa was spacious, and very clean and comfortable with a well appointed kitchen. All staff were very helpful and pleasant. Was very nice to have a very capable maid who made our days flow easily doing a lovely job. Also we really like the location, so handy to beach, shops and restaurants
