 Good morning Bali.

The Election polls are just closing on the east coast of America for the midterm elections which will decide who runs the Congress and who runs the Senate. 

What's at stake is the future of the United States, the future of trade relations with other countries plus the future of the environment for the world. 

Since Trump has taken office he has broken almost every agreement with countries such as Mexico, Canada and now China. 

It has been near impossible to invest in the financial markets because although the fundamentals of an investment (the supply and demand) may look positive or negative Trump can change the whole market overnight with a simple tweet. 

I'm praying with all my heart that the Democrats at least take Congress so that Trump cannot make decisions in the middle the night and simply have his Republican Congress rubber stamp them.

Things will go back to the way it's suppose to be where laws are passed by Congress then approved by the Senate instead of one man, who I believe is the worst disgrace ever to the American presidency in modern history. 

Most predictions last night were that there Democrats would take the Congress which would remove a large amount of power from Donal 

But as we learned from the 2016 election nothing is a sure bet. 

Donald has been busy motivating his ignorant followers who are the same people who sit at home and watch soap operas and reality shows all day. They and have no idea of what's going on in the economy in the world.

These ignorant followers may very well show out in force and also there may be some meddling behind the scenes with voting machines etc.

The may even be some intervention from foreign powers hacking voting machines as I believe they did during the 2016 election.

Let's hope I'm wrong.

I will be watching the election results closely over the next couple hours and hoping that the Democrats win at least the Congress. 

It would be a godsend if they win both Congress and the Senate.

If the polls are correct and the Democrats do take the house removing a lot of power from Donald Trump a lot of things can happen.

Robert Mueller's FBI investigation of Russian into interference in the 2016 election include many subpoenas, perhaps even for Donald Trump.

I am watching the U.S. dollar closely this morning. It looks like the dollar is falling in anticipation of a Democrat win of the house.

A falling dollar is good for Bali and is great for our tourism. It is especially great for Bali real estate market which has turned significantly the last six months. 

I am now the most bullish on Bali real estate since 2012 and in fact am negotiating to buy my first property in 10 years in anticipation sincerely believing this is the second-best buying opportunity this century.
