Another magical sunset gathering for Skal Bali Members

Last night my wife Azizah and I were very pleased to be part of a yet another traditional sunset party held by Bali’s largest travel organization Skal, Bali.

The Bali Skal Club is a professional organisation of tourism leaders from around Bali, promoting Local and Global Tourism and Friendship.
It is a member of the International Skal organisation of tourism leaders around the world, promoting global tourism and friendship.

It is the only international group uniting all branches of the travel and tourism industry. Its members, the industry’s managers and executives meet at local, national, regional and international levels to Do Business Among Friends.

Skal International today has approximately 15,000 members in 400 Clubs throughout over 90 countries. Most activities occur at local level, moving up through National Committees, under the umbrella of Skal International, headquartered at the General Secretariat in Torremolinos, Spain.

Last night’s beachfront party included free wine beer and canapés for all members.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the brand-new beachfront venue Ibiza Beach Club.
The sunsets are spectacular, as always from Jimbaran Bay.

Current club Pres. Steve Charles has done a fabulous job over the years to place our Bali Skal Club in the top 10 of over 400 clubs worldwide.

Industry Rates and Upgrades at Most Hotels around the World:
One of the largest benefits of Bali Skal Club, which I take advantage of often, is the fact that once you become a member of the Bali Skal Club you are part of the 15,000-member organization around the world.
This includes most major hotel managers in every major city and town.

I take advantage of this every time I travel by contacting these people directly through our Bali Skal Club members only website. I advise them I am a Skal member from Bali visiting and would like to have industry discounts and perhaps upgrades.
I often find that when I arrive at the hotel I am treated like a super VIP with spectacular rooms at substantial discounts.

Substantial Business Contacts in Bali:

The benefits of attending monthly luncheons and additional get-togethers is that you meet the Who’s, Who of the Bali travel industry, which of course is the major industry in Bali.

Whether you are supplier of products or services you can obtain important contacts from the at these monthly events.

Each month Skal meets for lunch at various restaurants and hotels throughout Bali the first Friday of each month.

There are normally between 100 to 200 members in attendance. Anyone associated with the Bali tourism industry, including restaurants hotels travel organization’s activities and events should join this organization. The membership fees are minuscule and includes 12 fabulous monthly luncheons and occasional get togethers such as last night at some of Bali’s finest hotels and restaurants.
