Bali Volcano and Airport Update Monday 2017-12-04

Hello Everyone,

I hope all is well.

Here is an update on Bali's Mount Agung Volcano and Airport. on Monday Dec 4th. at 11:00 AM.

The two rare, small cyclones offshore of neighbour Island Java that were reversing the trade winds here for a week and caused three days of airport closures have now dissipated.

Today the volcano is not even smoking, but probably will continue.

                                Mount Agung 2017-12-04-07:30 Hrs

The most important thing is that without the cyclonic influence the Tradewinds have returned to normal, which pushes all ash away from Bali
into the North far away from the airport and Bali' most popular Tourist Areas, of course.

The Airport is back to full status since Thursday and operating every day without any closures although a few low cost, bad reputation, airlines are using the volcano as an excuse to cancel flights.

So all looks good.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Cheers, Captain Lawrence
